I work in the service industry. Specifically, a restaurant . Very often people come in have a look at the menu and complain about the prices . And it almost always to me . The server. I always refer them to a manager or supervisor but it seems they never follow through. 

Surely they don't believe I have any say in the prices . There's literally nothing I can do to help you . You're getting an attitude with the wrong person.
